Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came. You wanna be where you can see, our troubles are all the same, you wanna go where everybody knows your name.

Thirsty Thursday

Day 2? What can I possibly say about today? It's been quiet. That may be because I didn't physically get out of the bed til mid afternoon, due to mine being up all night doing God-knows-what. For some odd reason, I'm relatively content today. Big relief, right? Though I can't help but ponder about what could have possibly happened with that violin. According to my grandmother, my teacher lied about paying the down payment, leaving us in the hole from having to do so ourselves. Oh, well. It's done now. No use in whining about it anymore. I'm grateful that it got taken care of. Quite frankly, I'm tried of thinking about it.

I've literally done nothing all day. I feel soooooooo lazy. On an average thursday at school, I'd be in rehearsal for my quartet right now. I would have been up at 8 and in class at 9. Would have eaten lunch around 1:45, done some homework, had a piano lesson, and would eventually end up in rehearsal right about now.  Waking up at 3 pm? That doesn't happen. Well, at lease not during the week, it may happen on a Sunday, after a drunken Saturday night. In which case, I'd wake up hungover and in slump pretty much the entire day.  Whereas, my family would be in church services all day. I know, I'm a HORRIBLE human being.

I had a conversation with a friend, about being religious and whatnot. I definitely was a very religious person not too long ago. This blog is the perfect piece of evidence regarding so. Now? Not so much. I believe in God, yes. But I'm just not so much of a practitioner as I used to be. To be honest, going to church now just annoys me. I guess you could say I'm in somewhat of a rebellious stage. I'm rebelling toward pretty much everything I was brought up on, religiously speaking. Do I believe in being a good person, and having integrity? Of course. I'd like to think I'm a decent person in that regard. Or at lease I try to be, though I'm pretty sure my pastor would disagree. It's a sad day when you realize you no longer fit into your own life.

In the meantime, I am enjoying being home. Though it's not normal to sleep in til 3, it is nice. It's also nice not to have to constantly worry about school and my academic status and whether or not I'm good enough get into medical school. Of course those thoughts haven't completely left me, but it's nice to not dwell on them. I have to say, I've been craving Starbucks lately. I know, random. But I'm so use to having it relatively close. I've drank a lot of coffee this past semester. Especially during finals week. Told my grandma and she just gave me this delightful sneer. She doesn't understand, apparently. Oh, well. I'll just survive on Pepsi til January. Which I would have done anyway.
