When your mind is free, it's easy to make a decision
Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came. You wanna be where you can see, our troubles are all the same, you wanna go where everybody knows your name.
Past my mind. Beyond my heart. Into my soul

It's About That Time!
It has been exactly one week since my return from my Colorado adventure and I must say. I'm still being beaten up about--from EVERYBODY. People who have no clue about anything have the audacity to say something about it. Honestly? I went on a trip to Colorado. YES! All. the. way. No, I don't regret going. Other than having to ask for money to get back--which I repaid, I don't feel bad about the trip either. Get over it. It's amazing how everyone finds a way to get into my business. Like it or not. I'm no longer the 5 year old little girl that used to trip everywhere (though I remain relatively clumsy). I have my own fricking life with my own friends. I think it's hard for my family to comprehend that concept. Instead of simply accepting the fact that Jessica is all grown up now, they rebel against it in every way.
In the meantime, I find comfort in the "illegal" videos from my trip.
That's Alban Gerhardt playing Elgar Cello Concerto! What's a synonym for AMAZING? I'll admit I had never heard of the guy before Colorado. But after seeing him perform and having met him afterward, he is one cool dude and my God is he an amazing cellist!
That is the one and only Josh Bell! He's playing the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E. I didn't get to meet him but I still love him. Funny, although I LOVE Josh Bell I have to say I'm more impressed by Alban Gerhardt. It may be because I actually got to meet him so he's not just a celebrity rock star cellist in my eyes. He's also a rather hilarious person with the most awesomest accent.
Anyway, I feel like it's about time for me to pack up and head back to campus. I miss the freedom that campus life gives me. Being at home isn't cutting it for me.
