And then he texted me back. Then again. And again. And YET again to the point where I was so annoyed with being between the two of them. It was the most odd predicament I've ever been in because it was as though he were flirting with Gina through me. I showed my friend Tom, and he agreed; this kid was nuts--though I use that term very loosely. But in the end of it all, I got what I wanted. A date was set up between the two of them and I'd be there to witness it all.
We began the night at the glee club concert. Such a treat for us lonely college girls--to be serenade by Notre Dame's finest men. Ok, Chris in the glee club so they aren't ALL that great but still, they're all great singers. And then they sang that song. It's a Christmas song in a foreign African language with a drum solo break. I have no clue what it's called. But after hearing it NUMEROUS times the week before? I was done the second I heard them chant the introduction. I digress...
The concert ends and we're faced with a VERY big decision. Do we greet Alex now? Or later at the Glee Club party??? Well Gina had to fix her hair and makeup for her future husband so we had no choice but to greet him later. We did however run into Chris... and Dan! Yeah, that was fun. :/
We get to the party. I could go into details with what we did and how she met up him, and the funny looking Santa hat Alex had on and how much I had to drink (which was a lot). But I'll simply say the rest is history. I literally showed the two of them to everyone I came across to at the party because I was just oh so proud of myself. But I also found myself in my own little world with my own guy. At the end of the night, Gina stayed with Alex and had her little romantic outing. The next time I saw her, she was no longer innocent little Gina!
....Oh, I'm totally kidding. She's still pretty innocent, it's part of her charm. But she did, however, get her first kiss! Good job, Jessica!!!!
